Lois Dixon pursued her American Dream in Ardmore for some very good reasons:

"Now that I am going away to college, I realize that growing up in Ardmore has had a very positive influence on my life. As a student in the Ardmore school system, I have had excellent teachers and all the opportunities to succeed that I would have had in a larger city. I have enjoyed these opportunities within a friendly and secure environment, and I have always been actively and enthusiastically supported by both my school and my community. Ardmore is a great city, and I am happy to call it my home."
